Audio Technica Ath M50x

The Audio Technica Ath M50X is highly recommended from me and my team. I have a pair of these in my home recording studio right at this moment.

The M50 ‘s never change they do get upgraded but that sound quality is always top notch.

The M50x are very flexible and can take a beating without any damage.

This is what sets them apart from any headphones out on the market today. In addition, the sound quality is tremendous and are very affordable at a price of $169.

Walk into most professional recording studios and surely you’ll see a pair of M50’s ready for use.

Thanks to Audio Technica who’ve built such an impressive headphone that most online music producers could afford.

Shure SRH840

Shure SRH840I wanted to add another great headphone that was not that pricey and that’s why I chose the Shure SRH840.

The Shure company have been delivering great products throughout the years and the SRH840 fits that mold perfectly.

The Shure SRH840 goes for the price of $199

These are a good choice but are not my top choice.

They provide good quality and comfort but don’t have the same depths of sound as the other models that we talked about.

They’re great for those music producers who are just starting out on a limited budget and want something other than the Audio Technica M50’s

Fostex T50RP

The price for the Fostex T50Rp is very affordable at only $120 bucks.

These headphones are huge and that might explain why they’re so uncomfortable. They will take a bit of getting use to but if you can’t afford a $300 headphone this is a great option to look at before purchasing.

Where Can I Sell My Beats Online?

Where Can I Sell My Beats Online?

I’ve been asked this question a lot lately by online music producers who are just starting out and who are very confused about what websites they need to focus on in order to get more beat sales.

I’ve noticed that most producers have accounts on every social media website possible.

They’re on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Linkedin, Vine, Pinterest, and many others.

Believe me I created accounts on those websites too when I first started my beat selling website but the truth is..

I was wasting most of my hours trying to be on social media all day instead of working on the money generating activities that would grow my business.

My daily business activities started to go downhill.

I wasn’t creating beats like I wanted to. I was too busy trying to be on every social media channel promoting my beats.

And that’s not a bad thing, we want to promote and sell our beats but there’s better ways to do so.

Here's what you'll learn..

• Why you should stay away from Email and Facebook between 8:00am and 1:00pm

• What social media websites I use to sell my beats

• What other ways besides social media you can sell beats.

• Why it’s important to stick with a plan, then rinse and repeat

Stay Away From Your Email and Your Facebook Account

This is the first thing you should do if you want to be more productive daily in terms of running a successful beat selling business.

Selling beats online takes work and if you’re checking your email every five minutes or checking what people are posting on Facebook, then you will waste time and money.

sell my beats fast

I know we have a tendency to check our email looking for that next paypal statement, believe me I did it too.

I created my own little plan that kept me off Facebook and Email for most of the day.

I promised myself that I would not open an email or log in to Facebook between the hours of 8:00 am to 1:00pm.

What this did was double my production and get me focused on what I had to do daily to grow my business, which was make beats, create new products, create new autoresponder emails with aweber, etc.

To promote my beats on Facebook I used a free tool that sent out my daily Facebook post automatically.

Not only am I off Facebook but I’m still promoting my music production business. It’s a win-win.

Selling My Beats with Social Media

For my beat selling business, I like to focus on a small number of social media websites to promote my beats and products on.

I recommend choosing two or three platforms and sticking with those.

The reason I don’t have accounts everywhere is that I don’t have the time of day to manage every account, so why waste the time trying when I can be doing more important things?

The two social media website I focus on are Twitter and Facebook (Facebook ads)

Let’s first talk about my favorite: Twitter.

Twitter is the #1 way I generate free traffic to my beat selling website.

Look at the stats we generated: 1.55 million impressions and 12,000 profile views on twitter in the last 28 days and for free. No advertising cost!

how to sell my beats with twitter

In addition, we add 20 to 30 new leads per day and all we do is use this strategy.

The key to selling beats on twitter is reaching out to music artists.

You could have 200,000 targeted followers in twitter but if you don’t engage with them, you will not sell any beats.

If you would like to learn more on how to grow your fanbase on twitter, click here.

My second favorite website to market my beats on and grow my email list is through Facebook and its Facebook ads platform.

Creating high converting Facebook ads can be very beneficial for your business in terms of generating highly targeted leads at very low cost.

The one thing I recommend when using the Facebook ads platform to sell your beats on is to learn how the system works before you invest.

You can lose your budget real fast if you’re creating ads without receiving the proper training.

Other ways to sell beats besides social media.

One of the best ways to get music artists listening to your beats fast is purchasing solo ads. Solo ads is one of the quickest ways to get targeted music artists to your website in hours.

What are solo ads?

Solo ads are a quick and easy way to generate traffic to your beat selling website at a low price.

The idea is to search online and find other trustworthy music producers who own a huge email list full of music artist and pay them to send your message to their subscribers.

You can actually build a huge email list quickly using this strategy.

I’ve tried plenty of solo ads, both good and bad.

Just make sure you research the website you’re purchasing solo ads on. Sign up to their email list first to make sure it’s a real service.

Selling Beats With Media Buys

Another way to send traffic to your beats is purchasing banner ad space on other peoples’ websites.

This is one of my favorite ways to promote my beats online. You must know your demographics first before you get into media buying.

Buying ad space online takes money, testing, and more testing.

Once you find the perfect ad that’s converting into sales, you can scale up and create a money making, beat selling machine.

Finding websites who are offering media buying opportunities is really simple, just go on Google and search for websites related to your niche where music artist hang out.

Most websites have advertise with us links in the footer section.

If you don’t find that link just contact them about a banner ad placement and cost.

Rinse and Repeat

Rinsing and repeating daily actions is the most important thing you will do to grow your music production company.

Get into the habit of creating a bucket list of things you have to get done in the first 4 to 5 hours of your day.

Make sure you focus on the money generating activities in the morning whether is creating a new beat, creating a blog post, creating a new product or creating an email blast that will go out daily to your subscribers.

These are money making tasks.

What this will do is create a rollover effect for your business’s future growth.

If you’re not willing to put in the work, then selling beats online is not for you. Stop looking for that “Secret Sauce” to sell beats online.

The secret sauce is you and the work ethic you put into your business.

Rinse and repeat.

Stop checking your email every five minutes, stop checking your Facebook news feed, and just get to work. Let’s go!
